Equipment review : Astrophotography

Orion CT10 Carbon Newton

I have owned this telescope for over a year now and still have never looked through it !  I purchased it solely for astrophotography.  It is permanently setup in my observatory, complete with cameras and mount. Basically a very well built and sturdy newton telescope. I purchased it specifically for photography and hence had it fitted with a moonlite focuser ( high payload and stability ) and a dc servo motor ( for accurate focusing ). Most recently I have replaced the spider wih a carbon spider from Horst Becker.
